For everyone who asks receives,
and he who seeks finds,
and to him who knocks it will be opened.

If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish?

Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit
to those who ask Him!"

You have only begun to show me your greatness and power. Is there any god in heaven or on earth
who can perform such great deeds as yours?

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you,
for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities,

that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses,
for Christ's sake.

For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Ephesians 6:10

be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

1 John 4:16-19

We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in him. God is love, and all who live in love live in God,

and God lives in them.

And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we are like Christ here in this world.

Such love has no fear because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of judgment,
and this shows that his love has not been perfected in us.

We love each other as a result of his loving us first.
