Ministries

The Worship Choir is a group of amazing people, from youth to adults, who feel led to use their gifts to help guide our congregation in worship.

We sing a blended variety of music in our choir. From Contemporary to Praise and Worship, to Southern Gospel, to Traditional Hymns, we believe Jesus Christ can be lifted through all genres of music. The Worship Choir does concerts throughout the year and our annual Christmas program.

There are multiple opportunities to use your gifts through our Worship Choir, from the choir itself to solos, to being a part of a mixed ensemble. If you feel God has blessed you with a talent for music and a desire to bless others with that gift, we invite you to join our music ministry.

Rehearsal: Sunday nights at 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM

The heart of our children’s ministry starts with believing that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love, and serve Him. Kids represent the most incredible opportunity to make a long-term impact on our world for Christ.

We strive to develop, implement, and maintain programs that are effective in training our children to become rich in the knowledge of God, sincere in their pursuit, and effective in their service to Him.

In Sunday school, we teach children to love God’s Word and apply it to their everyday lives.

Children’s Church teaches children the importance of worshipping together and growing in their faith.

Our AWANA (Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed) program is another way we encourage children to serve Christ.

The Women's Ministry is a wonderful group of ladies who enjoy sharing in many activities while keeping Christ as the center. These activities include prayer and fellowship, reaching out and supporting the community, sharing the Word through Bible Studies, and much more!

Regardless of age or church affiliation, any lady is welcome to attend!

Ladies meet most 3rd Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. When a Bible Study is active, the ladies meet from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday mornings. Please be sure to check our church calendar for any upcoming dates within the Women's Ministry.

We have many great opportunities for men to connect with other men for prayer, accountability, discipleship, and great fellowship.

One of the ways you can get involved is through our men’s Thursday Bible Study.

The men’s ministry also offers a monthly prayer breakfast on the third Saturday of every month, including exciting guest speakers and life-transforming teaching. We also have an annual men’s retreat.

We believe in developing leaders at WBC. Through our men’s ministry, you can create relationships that breed discipleship. “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17). We encourage you to come to join us on the journey as God makes you into a champion for Christ!
